our VTD20, is just the same layout as this, the fan is turned by the motor, so turn the drum, the fan turns.
Mieles have a seperate motor for there fan, so if you turn the drum, the fan doesn’t move. That is why mieles sense the load first, they have no air within the drum

even the layout of the meatle plate which the tiemer is on, has a marked out space for your vtd20 time deley dial

My mom had this same set when I was a kid. She bought them around 1970 and finally got new ones in mid 90′s. They don’t make them like that anymore!

That dryer looks almost like the one and only dryer my mother ever owned…my dad bought it for her (used) in 1977…six years later when my brother broke up what was left of their parent’s house, he moved it to his home…and last I saw of it, his wife and he were still using it!
